Walt is a Marketing Strategist, Strategic Business Advisor and Federal Business Development Specialist at the BPI Strategy Group, based in Merrimack, NH.

Walt spent 23 years in the US Air Force as a linguist, C-130 Navigator, IT Program Manager and Senior Officer.

After retirement he was a Business Development Director, Vice President and Senior Vice President for three years, helping three small businesses capture Federal contracts. In February 2006, he started his first business, Wise Business Development and in the fall of 2007, he started his coaching firm, The BPI Strategy Group.

BPI Strategy Group clients are professional service firms (dentists, chiropractors, accountants, financial advisors), technology firms and home service contractors. In addition, the firm works with businesses who want to sell to the Government but are not having the success they want.

Walt is also very active in the veteran community, helping veterans start and grow businesses, He spent 5 years as the CEO and Executive Director of the Northeast Veterans Business Resource Center, one of 15 Veterans Business Outreach Centers in the US. The Center worked with almost 9000 veterans, teaching the art of entrepreneurship, training, supporting, and mentoring veterans who wanted to start a business or had one and needed to grow and expand. 

He is the author of “Getting Back to Basics, Effective Marketing Strategies to Grow Your Business in Today’s Brutal Economy”, “Marketing Secrets to Grow Your Boston Area Business” and “45 Minute Business Breakthroughs”. In addition, Walt has been quoted on local and national radio and TV and in several national publications.
